Today, November 11, represents the day Jedi Mind Tricks dropped their 6th studio album, A History of Violence. The album, at the time, was their least successful to date, flopping at 169 on the Billboards and only selling around 11,000 copies. Today also marks the day T-Pain dropped his 3rd studio album 3 years ago, Thr33 Ringz. Thr33 Ringz was certified Gold, Grammy nominated, and a top-5 Billboard charting commercial success for Pain, but didn’t fair so well critically. Lastly, today is the day 3 years ago, Lil’ Wayne became the first hip-hop artist alongside Kid Rock to preform at the Country Music Association Awards. Weezy strummed a guitar for the song, “All Summer Long” by Kid Rock, alongside Rock’s band.
