Today also marks the 1 year anniversary of popular college artist, Sam Adams, last release with the mixtape, “Party Records”. Today is also the 8th year anniversay of the release of the highly acclaimed and highly influential Outkast double album, “Speakerboxxx/The Love Below”. Lead by singles, “The Way You Move”, “Roses”, and “Hey Ya!”, the album debuted at 1 on the Billboard 200, went 11x platinum (diamond), and became the first rap album and album with a parental advisory sticker to win Album of the Year at the Grammys (as well as winning Rap Album of the Year).
